The World's Greatest Minds

The Honeywell Initiative for Science and Engineering (HISE) gives students direct access to some of the world’s greatest minds. Our guest speakers and lecturers are the leaders in their chosen fields—hand-picked because of their special interest in seeing the next generation realize its dreams.

HISE features a roster that includes Nobel Laureates from around the world, as well as our own "Honeywell Fellows" — exemplary Honeywell associates who have developed hundreds of patents for breakthrough technologies.

Honeywell Fellows

Honeywell Fellows are working scientists, engineers, and technologists ready to share their real world knowledge and experience with students. By bringing the corporate and academic worlds together, students are given an in-depth preview and practical understanding of the real-life projects they will encounter as they begin their careers.

Some of the topics Fellows will be presenting this year include market segmentation, identifying customer value, and enhanced design for manufacturing.

Nobel Laureates

Learning from the world's best... that’s the idea behind our offering of Nobel Laureate lecturers.

Over the past 5 years, Honeywell has brought together some of the greatest Nobel Prize-winners of our time to act teachers, mentors, and as sources of inspiration for thousands of talented students.

From physicists who proved the existence of quarks, to chemists who exposed the harmful effects of chlorofluorocarbons in earth's atmosphere, HISE offers up-close and personal experiences with the world’s greatest heroes of science and technology.
